It was another beautiful day in Redwood City!
The Plankton Pioneers had an amazing adventure aboard the Robert G. Brownlee where they got to see a bat ray and a baby leopard shark. The Ocean Explorers spent the day on a beach expedition at Pescedero where they learned about marsh plants and the magnetic properties of the sand. Back at MSI, half of the Underwater Investigators spent the day canoeing on Redwood Creek while the other half dissected squid and learned about biomimicry.
Tomorrow, Plankton Pioneers will be studying invertebrates, Ocean Explorers will be at the Farallones Marine Sanctuary Visitor Center and Underwater Investigators will be headed to Angel Island and San Francisco for their overnight. Make sure to check back tomorrow to read about their adventures.
