Today is National Happiness Happens Day and boy did happiness happen today at MSI!
I knew it was going to be a great day when I overheard one of the Plankton Pioneers board the boat and yell “I love this place”. I could hear the excitement coming from inside the boat as as Captain Jackson pulled away from the dock. Just as the Planktons were leaving, so were the Ocean Explorers Rays, on their way to San Francisco and the Farallones visitor center. Back at MSI, the Ocean Explorers Sharks spent time inventing invertebrates, learning about mammals and touching leopard sharks. It was nothing but smiles when everyone returned to camp this afternoon.
Tomorrow the Plankton Pioneers will be at MSI learning all about fish and sharks. The Ocean Explorers Sharks will be visiting the Farallones Marine Sanctuary Visitor Center in San Francisco and the Ocean Explorers Rays will head out onto the bay for an adventure packed trip aboard the Robert G. Brownlee.
