Today the Plankton Pioneers went on an expedition in search of someone who stole their Otter Pops. While searching for them, they ventured into the marsh, the beach and even the deep sea. They finally found them but I will leave it up to them to tell you who the mystery thief was. Ocean Explorers took a trip on the Brownlee where they caught leopard sharks, a bat ray and a baby brown smooth-hound. What a great catch! Inland Seas Explorers visited Hayward Shoreline where they did a marsh walk, learned all about mud and found exciting things with dip nets.
Tomorrow the Plankton Pioneers will get their chance to board the Robert G. Brownlee and cruise around the Bay in search of fish, invertebrates and plankton. Ocean Explorers will be at Pescedero Beach and Inland Seas Explorers will stay at MSI where they will build a city, learn about sharks and discover how birds eat.
