The new school year is off to a whale of a start! Thanks to the incredible educators of the Bay Area, MSI’s calendar is almost totally booked! That’s right, we have hardly any spots left on land or on the water for October and November. But what’s that, you haven’t scheduled your programs yet? Don’t lose hope!
On December 2 our 90-foot research vessel, the Robert G. Brownlee, is going into dry-dock for an exciting upgrade – brand new engines! The new engines will provide more power for our voyages while decreasing our environmental impact through cleaner technology. This means that we can’t offer any discovery voyages in December, but we can make up for it by offering even more land programs!
Whether it’s a shoreside at MSI’s aquarium, a marsh & beach exploration in Pescadero, or inland voyage to your classroom, we have something for everyone this December. Keep in mind that MSI will be going on winter break starting December 15.
