One of the Marine Science Institute’s lesser-known programs is our ongoing effort to encouraging reading about ocean topics at our local libraries. On Fourth Saturdays, MSI brings live animals or artifacts to Redwood Shores Library and the downtown Redwood City Library branch. It’s our way of bringing the amazing stories found in your local library alive for young readers. Each month is a different theme, so check the library calendar to find out which adventures are in store for you!
Know of any young readers with a passion for the oceans? TODAY we’ll be brining animals from the rocky shore to bring your tide pool stories alive!
