Last summer they were “Small, but Mighty”, and we hope to see our little campers just as excited to learn this summer. Our Plankton Pioneer camp for children entering Kindergarten or 1st grade is a fun introduction to marine science and nature exploration.
Our young explorers learn by touching and examining live animals. Thematic crafts, songs and games keep their bodies and minds active as they make new fishy friends. Our newly revised curriculum introduces ocean habitats and their inhabitants to campers. With our expert staff, they will dive to the deep, travel across the open ocean, explore the coast and enjoy our bay. As always, a highlight of their camp experience is a trip aboard our ship, where they will fish, sample mud, and look at the tiniest part of the food chain.
As the name implies, our Plankton Pioneers are our littlest scientists setting out on a life-long journey of loving
to learn and embracing nature.
